COMBATING GLOBAL WARMING AND AIR POLLUTION

While the impact of climate change is an important conversation happening across the mobility ecosystem, achieving sustainable development goals is proving to be more difficult than expected. In addition, a worldwide pandemic is both impeding progress and proving the need for safe and sustainable mobility. Civil society as well as public and private sector players are insisting upon concrete commitments to achieve decarbonization targets.

To demonstrate measurable impact on GHG emissions and air quality, factual analysis, collective action and operational changes must be made.

How can we finance sustainable mobility? What shifts have been accelerated by the pandemic? Are resilient economies linked to more regulation?

What progress has been made in both biofuel and renewable energy sectors, and how do we integrate these technologies into decarbonization and recovery plans?
