As Senior Director of the World Bank’s Transport Global Practice, Guangzhe Chen wants to make mobility better for everyone. He sees affordable and accessible mobility as both a fundamental need for people and as a way to a greener world. Mr. Chen has 25 years of experience at the World Bank and previously, at the Asian Development Bank. An economist by trade, he leads the formulation and implementation of strategy and programs for sustainable road, urban, rail, logistics, water and air transport, as well as key cross-cutting agendas such as road safety, climate adaptation/mitigation, gender, human capital development, disruptive technologies and financing.
