Patrick Oliva has held numerous management positions, the most recent being Director of External Relations for Sustainable Mobility and Energy Transition for the Michelin Group. He retired in February 2017 after 35 years with the company. When he was Director of Communications for Michelin, he created the Challenge Bibendum, an international event focusing on sustainable mobility, now known as Movin’On. Among his many international engagements, he is a member of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and co-founder with SLoCaT of the PPMC – Paris Process for Mobility and Climate – which leads the topic of Transportation in the Global Climate Action Agenda at COP 21 and 22. PPMC was responsible for the creation of the large-scale, long-term road map to decarbonization/modernization of transport (2020-2050+) presented at COP 22 in Marrakesh.
