The UN predicts that 68% of the world’s population is projected to live in urban areas by 2050. Successful management of urban growth is therefore critical to meeting the sustainable development goals. Many cities are looking towards integrated, digitized mobility systems, in an effort to improve choice and equity for citizens and to reduce congestion and environmental impacts.
This panel will discuss how cities are navigating future mobility options, and ensuring that they make the best choices given the plethora of actors and solutions. It will also look at the role of the citizen in shaping the future mobility of a city. Industry leaders will discuss the benefits they perceive to a more collaborative, company-led ecosystem approach to delivering city solutions.
